Caddis is an Omaha, Nebraska based company that uses
a multidisciplinary approach to develop antimicrobial
agents (antibiotics) that target problematic bacteria of
immense public health concern.

Current work focuses on developing small molecules
for the therapeutic intervention of Staphylcoccus aureus
and Acinetobacter baumannii infections.  Why these

S. aureus causes more U.S. deaths annually than HIV

A. baumannii is a major cause of morbidity and mortality in
military personnel involved in Operation Iraqi Freedom

Both S. aureus and A. baumannii have developed
resistance to all currently available antibiotics
